You can also try http://www.site59.com This one has last minute details and is pretty good. It includes air/hotel or air/car rental or hotel/car rental. I've used this before and save a lot of money.
3. No way are you going to find something for $100 including hotel and airfare! Have you signed up for any e-mail alerts from the airlines? That always helps. Also try subscribing to travelzoo and sidestep.
