Why aren't there any science centers for adults?
I've been to the Great Lakes Science Center, the Franklin Institute, and others, and they're all aimed at kids! It's the only type of museum that targets kids exclusively! Do they think adults don't like science? I would love to go to a cool science museum, but all the one I've been to are full of silly things like "turn the crank to light up the light bulb!" and "make static electricity!". Are there any science museums for adults?

- I disagree re the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The Science Museum in Boston is similar. And there is the Air & Space Museum in DC. Yes, there are lots of exhibits that cater to kids, but there are a lot that are not. Personally, I'm a long way from a kid, and I enjoy them. .
- There are many. Even the good ones targeting children have information suitable for adults. The need is greatest for children, since there is so much that public education can't provide, or chooses not to. Adults can easily learn on their own. Any facility open to the public must be extremely careful regarding liability issues. A stupid or careless adult who injures himself could sue and bankrupt almost any institution. Every natural science museum displays more information than anyone can absorb. Try the Exploratorium in San Francisco, the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose CA, and of course the Smithsonian. Also, most adults who care have already done it.
